The story

A few days after visiting the Adams's tombs, we decided to head to Concord to visit Pierce's grave.  Upon arrival, we quickly located the grave, because of it's large size.  The monument was huge, and the flowers around it made it look wonderful on that particular sunny day.  After exploring the cemetery, we drove a few more miles down the road and arrived at the Pierce Manse.  The Manse contained many relics about Franklin Pierce, and was the only house owned by the Pierce's.  This grave would be the last of the summer, and the last until late December of 2008.
