Birthplace: Delaware, OH

On October 4th, 1822, Rutherford Hayes was born here.  The birthplace was demolished, but a memorial is located on the site.

Home: Fremont, OH

Rutherford Hayes lived here from 1873-1893.  It was here that he died.  It is named "Spiegel Grove".

Library, Museum, and Gravesite: Fremont, OH

Rutherford Hayes is buried under the large marble slab on their favorite knoll at the home.

Former Burial Site: Fremont, OH

President Hayes was temporary buried in Oakwood Cemetery, not far from the present site, in 1893.
